Two men have been arrested after a 16-year-old boy died when he was hit by a falling tree in Nottinghamshire. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon in the village of Edwinstowe, where the boy was fatally injured by the tree, which fell on to the road he was walking on. Police and paramedics attended the scene, but sadly, the boy was pronounced dead at the scene. The two men, aged 37 and 39, were arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter and have been released on bail while investigations continue. Nottinghamshire police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information they may have about the incident, especially those who were driving in the area at the time of the incident.
