Police Appeal for Witnesses After Fatal Collision in Queensferry

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Queensferry on the A548 on Saturday evening, August 5th. The incident involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a blue Honda Jazz and occurred at around 7:40 PM near the Shell garage. Sadly, the driver of the Honda, a 78-year-old woman from Queensferry, passed away at the scene. The driver of the Vauxhall, a 26-year-old woman from Flint, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was subsequently released on bail pending further investigations. North Wales Police is urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have seen either of the vehicles prior to the incident to come forward. They are particularly interested in any dashcam footage that may have captured the incident.
